Application Engineering
The type of Expansion Joint chosen is dependent on the philosophy of the manufacturer. Pipe stress problem is resolved by using bellows either absorbing movement in axial, lateral, angular, or a combination of these movements and the existing conditions at the site. If it is a new application, our preference would be only to use restrained type against unrestrained type. We can also employ stress analysis to assist in solving customers’ piping problems.

NONMETAL EXPANSION JOINTS-
Non-Metal Expansion Joints (Fabric) are designed to provide stress relief by absorbing movements caused by thermal changes, vibration & minor misalignment. Fabric EJ used in applications where the pressure is less than 30 kpag (0.3 bar) and up to 1500 deg C. to
absorb either movement and/or vibration in a duct.
Fabric Expansion Joints
The selection of the fabric and the design is dependent on individual applications. We can design and supply both materials with frames or without, spliced or unspliced for site installation.

Rubber Expansion Joints
Rubber Expansion Joints used in an application where the temperature is below 200 deg C and moderate pressure. Ideal for absorbing vibration and noise in addition to movement in all directions.
